Jim Knight

PRINCIPAL
Since 1990, RPI has specialized in healthcare development under Jim’s leadership. His expertise has been built off of his career in real estate that started in 1979.

Jim’s educational background included core compentency in Health Systems Science at the University of Central Arkansas. 

He and his wife, Terri, reside in their hometown of Russellville, Arkansas where they are active in their local community and church. Jim has served on many local organization boards including the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce, Russellville Regional Alliance for Economic Development, the Wesley Foundation, and as a deacon at First Baptist Church. Jim previously served on the Arkansas Career Education and Workforce Board, where he was appointed by Governor Mike Huckabee. 

Jim and Terri have two daughters and three grandchildren with one on the way. Jim spends his free time enjoying the outdoors with his family and his Labrador, Maverick. 

Jim Watkins

PRINCIPAL

As a licensed real estate broker for over forty years, Jim Watkins brings unparalleled real estate and negotiation experience to the table.

Jim’s success in commercial real estate led him into the healthcare industry as corporate officer and Vice President of Real Estate Development for Triad Hospitals and later as President of Altera Development Company.

During Jim’s leadership at Triad, he oversaw the complete centralization of all real estate transactions and activities for 55+ hospitals while managing site selection across the U.S. Jim also oversaw the negotiations for 40+ ground-up healthcare real estate development projects including medical office facilities and ancillary care components on a national scale.

Jim Watkins is a business administration graduate of Louisiana State University.
Jim’s sport of choice is golf and he formerly served as Chairman of the Board of Governors for Gleneagles Country Club in his hometown of Plano, TX.

 

DRUE BYNUM

PRINCIPAL

Drue Bynum hails from Texas and brings a diversified background to RPI including real estate and business development, both globally and domestically, governmental relations including both public service and public/private partnerships, and a blended diversity combining the corporate, governmental, and medical fields.

Drue has served in several positions throughout his career, including the elected position of County Judge for Grayson County, TX for two terms. Drue most recently was the Director of Business Development for a 335-bed for- profit hospital in North Texas. He has developed Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Medical Office Buildings, Emergency Room and bed tower expansions, primary care clinics, and Home Health acquisitions and expansions. Drue has also developed subdivisions and acted as the agent on large-scale property acquisitions, farms, and ranches.

Drue is a 1991 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and served honorably in the United States Army. Drue and his wife of 29 years, Nora, have three children, Halle and son-in-law Clay, Cooper, and Cole. The Bynum’s have resided in Pottsboro, TX, on a family farm, for over 26 years.
